MBIE has released information on building and construction at Alert Level 3.
Level 3 includes restrictions to keep workers safe, limit interaction with customers and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The guidance covers:
- Business travel within Alert Level 3
- Travel between Alert Levels 3 and 4
- Information needed for a construction business travel exemption
- Information for councils and professional services
- Building consenting evidence.

It is important that if your business does not meet the criteria for travel, you do not apply. This will ensure that MBIE is able to process timely documents for those businesses who need them for workers to undertake permitted activities.
