MBIE has released information on building and construction at Alert Level 3.

The guidance covers:

  • Business travel within Alert Level 3
  • Travel between Alert Levels 3 and 4
  • Information needed for a construction business travel exemption
  • Information for councils and professional services
  • Building consenting evidence.

See MBIE's Building Performance website.

It is important that if your business does not meet the criteria for travel, you do not apply. This will ensure that MBIE is able to process timely documents for those businesses who need them for workers to undertake permitted activities.
